We were planning a day trip to take our friends Gail & Bill out for a ride, as well as to check out our newly installed electronics. About 100 yards out of the slip we hear ‘clunk, clunk, clunk’. Jim went to the engine room but heard nothing there (good news). We pulled back in to the bulkhead, Jim put on a diving mask and went under the boat to check the props. Sure enough, there was something there.
We called in a diver who came out later that afternoon and retrieved this lovely souvenir- another boat’s rub rail! A test run later with no vibration apparent and we were relieved to be back in business.
We ended the night with a lovely dinner on the dock with our Sanzari Marina friends. Perfect spot for beautiful sunsets- you never tire of looking at them .

You definitely lucked out on that one! Jim you are pretty resourceful to be able to put on your diving mask and descend into to the icy water to inspect the props. Happy Father’s Day tomorrow Jim. I have always seen you as being a great Dad. Love to Pat.
